Talk about semantic web and university ontology, plus using Exhibit to browse ontologies

I recently gave a talk to a small regional conference about the semantic web and the university ontology I'm working on. I think it went well enough...hopefully a link to the audio will be coming soon.

In the meanwhile, here's a link to the slides. It might take a little while to load, since there are two Exhibits embedded within it (I'm using Slidy so that I can do things like that).

Speaking of which. . . the last slide is an Exhibit for browsing the university ontology project I'm working on. (Here's just the Exhibit) Even when I work up a more formal page for the ontology (after I get comfortable enough with the ontology to publish it at its intended URL), I'll probably keep the Exhibit as a slightly more friendly way to browse it.

UPDATE: Here's the link to the podcast.
