I've been following MarsPhoenix on Twitter for a while, and was delighted to see a really neat use of Twitter -- people tweeting questions to the probe, anthropomorphized.
Reflection on Patrick vs. the Pipes
A neat thing happened during my twittering about the plumbing joys last weekend. At some point, I think somewhere in day two, I stopped thinking of the tweets as individual items, and started thinking of them as a narrative. That struck me as important because it think it makes a good analogy to what we want students to do with a liberal arts education (or any education, for that matter).

Following Faculty Academy, many people around UMW have caught the Twitter-bug. A few people wondered about how it could be used as a communication channel in the classroom, sort of as a guided back-channel communication.
